Business Careers in Automobile Racing/ Motorsports Teams etc…?
As a college student, I focus a great deal of my time planning for the future. Everyone tells me to find a job that revolves around something that I enjoy. I have a passion for motorsports, racing, automobiles, and business. I realize business is a vast subject matter; perhaps that it why I gravitate so heavily to it. Management, marketing, strategic planning, limitless opportunities… the list is by no means short. With that said, what kind of careers are out there that might be worth purusing for an individual with the aforementioned interests? Well, I like to think there are many career paths out there and it is just a matter of finding them. Motorsports teams, Nascar Track Presidents… so forth and so on?
Aside from working towards an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, what should I be doing in these “college years” to better prepare myself for landing a job with a company that has a direct connection to automobile racing? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you
