Uniden Nascar 100-channel

is there an easy way to program and operate a race scanner? The manual included with my scanner sucks.?

I have an Uniden 100 channel scanner. What I really want to know is how to program the different freqs for each driver – and MRN – or another radio broadcast, and then select that freq for listening. The manual leaves a lot to be desired. I will be using this for Nascar and IRL races at the tracks.

Well the easiest way with some newer scanners is there is a computer hook up and you can get software from:

http://www.butel.nl/

If you need frequencies you can get them from here for free

Here is where you can find NASCAR frequencies.

What type of scanner do you have? If is a Uniden BC72xlt, you can turn on all the “Close-call” bands and then use the close call feature when at race events, or you can search for frequencies of the dirvers using the 6 pre programed searches
