He will mostly be on an uneven durt road (he lives on a farm) and i cant tell if this will work. how fast does it go? will it ride good in dirt? how often does it need charged?
It’s an offroad vehicle so it will drive good anywhere there is no pavement. That is the whole concept of an ATV (all-terrain vehicle). While 13 is the youngest that is recommended for operating one, it needs to be discussed with the parents, not random strangers online. Most 13 yr old boys aren’t mature enough to be around machinery like that without intentionally getting hurt. Pepboys (site listed above for the picture) does not have them for sale because they are a parts store. But there are lots of places that do sell them and they can give expert answers. You don’t charge them. They run on gas like a regular vehicle but the battery needs to be replaced regularly, however it would be less frequently than a car or truck that is used everyday.
As far as how much it costs, they’re not cheap. At least $1000, usually more.
